Soccer?

For the past several months Andrew has been wanting to play a sport....any sport....every time Kennedy goes to soccer he wants to go play too, when we go to the local football games he begs to go get on the field and play! He is boy, he does have  ALOT of energy, and likes to be rough...We thought little league soccer would be a perfect outlet for him. He was SO excited about the shoes, shorts, jersey, new ball, etc. We get to the first practice and my boy shuts down...He started crying and saying, "I want my mommy!" He sat in the middle of the field picking grass, then gathered up all the cones, then stood in the goal...At one point he layed down in the middle of the field and wouldn't get up...even though he was about to get run over. I don't have a picture of that one because I was trying to save him!
 He was excited at first!
This is the ONLY action shot we have...I think we used our good parenting skills and promised him juice, candy, chocolate, etc...It was very short lived!

Labor Day Fun and McDonalds

We spent Labor Day at my sister's house. It was the first nice weather day we have had in what feels like forever. We stayed outside all day. We road 4-wheelers and went fishing. Of course, I didn't get enough pictures, I was too busy talking and having fun...Imagine that!
My boy LOVED the 4wheelers... He kept saying he wanted to ride by himself....no way Jose! He didn't like riding with me because he said that I was too slow. He did like riding with Aunt Carla, Uncle Jon, and his daddy...they got fast!
My little Mika caught a little fish. She was so proud of herself.

Random picture...I know! A new McDonalds opened up by our house. We went one day after school to check it out and they had all the characters there. Remember the hamburgerler and grimace?

Back to School

Summer went by way too fast! My sweet Kennedy is in 4th grade this year and my precious Mika is in 1st grade. They both have awesome teachers and for that I am greatful.
Mika was sooooo excited about going back to school!
Kennedy wasn't as excited as Mika, but she was ready!
Kennedy wouldn't let me take a picture of her in class...so I got one at the locker=) When we left the school Andrew got very sad and kept asking when we could pick Kennedy and Mika up...so sweet...Last year at this time it didn't matter to him when they went to school. It just shows how much he has attached to us over the past year!
We went to a friends house to play...it was a nice distraction for him. He LOVED playing in shaving cream.
My friends little boy races these little cars...Andrew thought he was hot stuff getting to sit in it! I didn't think I was ever going to get him out.
We had a special after school treat at Aunt Stashia's house. We are off to a great school year!

M.I.A

I haven't posted since June...not surprised though! It was a busy summer...the first summer having 3 kids at home. Andrew didn't make it home until August last year, which we celebrated August 6th! I can't believe how fast time flies.  I thought about giving up on the blog because I can't seem to find time but I know I will be glad I didn't years down the road.  Here is what I have.....
 4th of July at Nana's and Pa's.
Andrew was scared to death at first but then liked it. I didn't get a picture of Mika because she was hiding...She isn't a fan of fireworks=)
How many kids can we fit into one plastic pool? When it's hot outside...anything goes!
One morning Andrew decided he was going to fix his 4 wheeler using real tools! He just went outside and flipped it over....looks like he might be a little Pa!
He spent almost an hour working and it still wouldn't work!
 Future football player?
Family time!
We went skating one afternoon...He was insistent on trying all by himself.
 Megan and Mika!
Kennedy and Callie.
And when its 108 degrees outside and there is nothing to do....why not dress your little brother up in all your dance costumes?
These pictures will come in handy one day!
What is a Cagle get together without a big shrimp boil? Fun times...Kennedy and Megan chopping onions!
 Yum!
We love our summers with the Cagle's!
