Family Pictures??

We attempted family pictures...see below...need I say more? Pictures and 2 year olds don't mix!!

Mr. Fish and Christmas Fun!

Mika got to bring home Mr. Fish for the weekend. It was her responsibility to take care of him and then journal about all the things she did with Mr. Fish.  Kindergarten is so fun!!
Mr. Fish got to watch us make candy Christmas trees!! I think he even got some green frosting on him.

 So much fun!!
On Saturday Mr. Fish went with us to the Rockwall parade.
We had a great time....as the horses passed by Andrew yelled,  "Hi Bella!!" He still thinks all animals are named Bella...he loved it!
On Saturday afternnon Mr. Fish watched the girls make a gingerbread house!

I am thankful for 3 incredible children!!!
Andrew tried everything I gave him and he loved everything he ate!! I was so proud of him... he even liked pumpkin pie!!!

Camping

Fall camping is the best!!!

I have to explain this picture... my dad built this thingy...not sure what to call it as he took part of an old golf cart and part of an old motorcycle and came up with this.. his grandkid hauler! As you can see one little boy LOVED it and all we heard all weekend was, "ride, ride, ride!"
Our hiking trip...it is really hard to get 5 kids to all look and smile at the same time!
My boy had sticks and rocks in his hands all the time...

Trick or Treat!

It's always fun to watch our kids get dressed up and go trick or treating...this year it was extra fun as we got to watch Andrew experience this tradition for the first time.
He was Superman...he wasn't real sure what to think about his costume..but he went with it...for awhile...then he wanted it off! Oh by the way..yes, that is a tent you see in our back yard..we attempted a camp out the night before...that is a different story...lets just say...we didn't last!
Here are the girls! Supergirl, Rodeo girl, and Minnie Mouse!

 My superheros!
 Kennedy and daddy!
All three...Andrew not wanting another picture!
This was our next door neighbor, Byron...it was the first house we went to...We had to teach Andrew what to do... it was so funny.. once he picked candy out of the bucket he threw his bucket down and started trying to open the candy!
This is big cousin, Jake showing him how to walk to the next house!
This was Andrew the whole night.. he would get a new piece of candy and it would go straight to the mouth..wrapper and all! We finally gave him a sucker to put in his mouth..that worked for a while! After a few houses he got the routine down and had a blast with all the othe kids!! It took him an hour to fall asleep that night!

Boo at the Zoo

Now that soccer is done our Saturdays our free!! Today the weather was awesome so we decided on a trip to the zoo...Although the girls have been it seems like a million times Andrew had no idea what a zoo was...We were anxious to see his reaction...
The girls trying to figure out which way we should go first....

 Hold on!!
Come to find out...Andrew could have cared less about the animals! Give that boy a rock to climb and he is in heaven!!!
He did not want to leave the rock area!! Everytime he saw more rocks..guess what he wanted to do!!!
Kennedy and Mika in a little creepy house!
 Look at my baby birds!!
OK..so he did like the petting zoo..maybe because the animals were actually close enough for him to see, touch, and yes... taste! He kept saying, "Hi Bella!" to all of them...Bella is our dog.. and apparently everything that has four legs is also named Bella!
Of all the things to see and do...what kept his attention...doors..that's right..doors!! He loves to try and figure out how things work.
My sweet Mika LOVED these little goats and they loved her too! I think she just might want one!
I had to throw this picture in...my sweet girl outside with her robe, Burger King crown, and doll...swinging... Love it!

Pumpkin Patch

I took the kiddos to the Rockwall Pumpkin Patch to pick out a couple of pumpkins=)
Sweet sisters! Andrew...somewhere in the pumpkins!
Andrew wanted to pick all of them up...he didn't really care that they were too heavy!

I tried! Andrew was more interested in taking Mika's little pumpkin.
My sweet little Mika Moo!

The State Fair of Texas

We did make it to the fair this year...I think it might of actually been the first time we have been since Mika was a baby...we barely made it..the last day...and so did everyone else!
 My sweet Kennedy!
Mika on one of the rides she picked!
Andrew on his very first ride...ever!!! Wow! I wish I would have videoed it! You could hear him squealing and screaming from a mile away... When the ride was over he didn't want to get off...his new word learned for the day..."ride"!! Sorry buddy...not when its $3.00 a ride! Maybe next year we will go to Six Flags instead!
My attempt at all three in front of Big Tex...I chopped his head!
The very best part of the fair....all the yummy food...Mika picked cotton candy...Andrew wasn't real sure what to think of this new food..but kept asking for more anyway!

Back to Work and First Day of School

Today I went back to work and my sweet baby started school! I was not looking forward to today...it seemed like my 6 weeks with him flew by so fast. I was worried about what he would think in his little mind about mommy and daddy being gone for the day..well really just from 9:00-2:30...I am blessed to only work 2 days a week and he is in a great program at First Baptist Rockwall where he is already so loved by 2 amazing teachers! We have been talking alot about school and he even says "scoo" for school=)
Trying to get a picture of this boy is almost impossible! He thought it was so funny that I was trying to get a picture of him with his Spiderman backpack and lunchbox! By the way... he picked those out...I promise! Michael took him to the store to "pick out" a lunch box for school and he was all about the Spiderman lunchbox... a few days later when I went to the store I let him pick out a backpack..same thing..he was all about Spiderman!! Craziness=)
When we first walked to the door of his class he started to cry...until we walked in with him.. then he thought..wow..this is greatness!
He was all about the toys...then when we left he chased us out the door=( They said he did really good for his first day.. that he cried a little off and on...PE was his favorite.. he loved the hula hoops! He was happy to see me after school! I do think he has had a difficult time processing the day..as he has been very loud all afternoon! We will see what Thursday brings=)
