All in a Day!

This is how our Sunday started out=(  I mentioned going to the park and Andrew was so excited he started running around and wouldn't you know it, he tripped and did a face plant onto a toy..With all the blood we were sure he knocked out a tooth or something. Luckily he didn't. But he did have a deep gash right below his lip. So we made a little trip to Urgent Care because I wasn't sure if he would need stitches or not.
 My poor baby.
Kennedy was a great big sister!!
My boy thought he was hot stuff!
Seriously have you ever seen something so cute?!
He was soooo brave..He never cried! Yea for liquid stitches!
After we got home we picked up Mika and went to the pumpkin patch!
 They loved the maze.
They picked out a pumpkin for carving.
Next we went to the park,
 Kennedy
 Andrew....I was praying he wouldn't fall again=)
 Mika
We ended our day with a little carving of the jumbo pumpkin.
I love my babies!!

Building 101

One of my new favorite websites is ana-white.com  It is a website that has tons of step by step furniture plans that you can download for free!! After looking at this website for 2 years I finally decided to give it a try.  For my first project I decided to make a coffee/lego table. My dad was so sweet to guide me through it all and teach me how to measure correctly and use all the fun tools.  I  went to Home Depot all by myself to buy my supplies... I quickly got overwhelmed=) Thank you to my dad for saving the day and showing me what I needed.
My children being very "patient" as we get all our supplies!
This is the frame...yes I cut all the wood by myself with a big ole saw!! Well...all except the plywood because it was too heavy..
Here is the finished product!
The tops come off and there is great storage..I plan on putting all of Andrew's lego's in there!
I finally got it stained...not sure if I like it that dark...so I will look at it for a few days and maybe redo it!

Soccer Days

Kennedy LOVES soccer!! Every season she gets better and a little more aggressive!
Ok...so I know it's hard to see but there is a ball in the goal and my girl put it there!!! WooHoo!!
 Go number 7!
I am so proud of you!!

Homecoming

Mika's team had a homecoming game complete with a pep rally, mums, and lots of team spirit... She wasn't even sure what a mum was but she had a blast!

What is a football game without a big entrance!

Their little halftime show...Mika is the one in the front going down into the "splits".
