Father/Daughter Date Night

Every year our church host a Father/Daughter Date Night. Kennedy looks forward to this every year!

Michael had to work late so Kennedy and I met him at the church.
Here is daddy giving his sweet princess flowers.. He bought Mika some too.. Next year she will be old enough to join them.

They had a great night! Thank you Lake Pointe for putting this together...

Snow..In Texas!!

It actually snowed in Texas!! When we woke up on Thursday morning it was snowing and it snowed all day and stopped snowing sometime early Friday morning. We got around 11 inches of snow! I'm 34 and this is the first time I have seen this much snow.. in Texas! I took tons of pics but since I can't post that many, here are a few!

Michael and Kennedy attempting to build a snowman.. not as easy as you think it is! Where's Mika?
There she is! Inside! She wan't a big fan of the snow! She was happy to watch us play from inside!
Wait... is that Mika? Yes..outside in her piggy footie pajamas, boots, lightweight jacket, and mismatched gloves...This was later in the afternoon and Michael and I were upstairs and we heard the girls squealing and it sounded like it was coming from outside...this is what we found.. Mika decided to give the snow a try!
She likes it!
The next morning it looked like a winter wonderland outside!

Thank you God for the little surprises you give us!

Seussical, The Musical

The second grade class did their musical tonight... Seussical, The Musical! It was super cute! All the kids did such a great job! I tried to take pictures of Kennedy on stage but my camera isn't the best..so it didn't work.. But, here is Kennedy after the musical=)

Kennedy's Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Kennedy's 8th birthday by having a puppy party. She had several friends come over to help celebrate.
My sweet friend Bethany made this fabulous cake!
Me and the birthday girl!
All the girls!
Happy Birthday sweet girl!
Kennedy also had her very first sleepover with a few of her friends! First we started out with some pizza!  We had a blast.. here are a few of the things we did.. Played American Idol.. all the girls have such beautiful voices! They all made it to Hollywood!
Played the laughing game several times!
Played sardines in the dark! They are all crammed in a closet here!
Had a bend a roo contest! Played charades, little sally walker, and watched a movie...
Anybody tired yet? I think they fell asleep around 2 in  the morning!! Not to worry though.. they still have plenty of energy!
The next morning I somehow had energy to make the girls pancakes! We sang happy birthday one more time!
All smiles!! I could not have asked for a better group of girls!

The Magic Time Machine

The girls birthdays are a week apart...well, 3 years and 8 days apart to be exact! So, we took them to The Magic Time Machine. What a fun place to go! The hour drive was worth it. We got to sit in a tiki hut complete with little port holes!

Mika fell asleep in the car on the way to the restaurant.. so at first she didn't want anything to do with being there..she didn't even want to be in the picture=)

Our waitress was Cinderella..She was amazing..she stayed in character the entire time.. complete with jokes and pixie dust. The girls ordered The Magic Time Machine Magic Bubbley Potion drink.. Complete with bubbles and smoke...

So random picture of the salad bar.. just thought is really cool that it was in an old car!

The girls enjoyed peeking through the port holes to see all the "Characters"... They saw Snow White, Woody, Capt. Jake Sparrow, and of course Cinderella.

The girls with Cinderella!

Cinderella and Snow White sang the girls Happy Birthday and brought them each a dessert complete with a candle! Fun times!!
