Today I left the girls with their daddy while I went to the grocery store. When I came home this is how I found Mika...she changed from her soccer clothes to this.. she picked it out all by herself...I should worry! The shirt has a pair of shorts that match it and they were in the drawer together so I'm not sure why the tights?? Don't you like the hair too? She always keeps me laughing!
Today both girls had their soccer games at 11:00! It made it a little crazy for mommy and daddy! Espcially since Michael helps with both teams!
Kennedy did so good today.. She came out of her shell and was aggressive!! She wants so badly to score a goal! She is getting close!
Mika, Mika, Mika....what do you say about a team of 4 year olds? Follow the ball!!! As you can see in the pictures Mika doesn't really seem to care about soccer... digging in the dirt, pulling on her shirt, pulling on her braids, oh and spinning in circles!! At least she had fun!
In case your wondering... yes her shin guards are on the outside of her socks.... they "itchy" her!I love you Mika!
Two hungry soccer players!
Today was a fun day! It started off with Muffins for Mom at Kennedy's school and then her class surprised the moms who volunteer in the 1st grade class with a volunteer appreciation! They were so cute! Then it was off to Firewheel Mall with Rae and her kids for a little shopping, lunch, fun times at the fountain and ice cream. Poor Mika was so tired by the time we picked Kennedy up from school. Anybody who knows Mika knows she is a homebody and would rather stay home! While I was cooking dinner she laid down in the middle of the kithchen floor with her blanket and pillow and almost fell asleep... but our day wasn't over...The girls and I went to Jake's T-ball game.
Isn't Jake so cute? He did such a great job! He even slid into home and got his white pants nice and dirty for his mom!!
The girls didn't really watch the game but they had fun playing!
And the day is done!
I took the girls to the park to attempt to get some updated pictures to send in to the agency. It was very hard to keep them focused... they wanted to play! Don't worry.. they got to play! I really wanted to get a pic. of the two of them together but Mika refused to take a picture with Kennedy. She only wanted pictures by herself.... maybe next time.
